Sr. Business Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for management of internal commercial data and market related information, providing key insights and actionable strategic input to the senior commercial leadership team. We are looking for an individual who can deliver value to Natera’s senior leadership team in making smarter business decisions using analytics. The Sr. Business Analyst will be working closely with the BI analyst team to deliver results. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide strategic direction and input to Sales and marketing teams 
• Analyzes geographic data using BI tools and analytical methods to assist Natera in making strategic decisions, driving sales in the right regions, reducing risks, and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team. 
• Customer retention/attrition trends, numbers, key drivers, business impact, develop recommendations
• Analyze and provide communication tools on relevant data.
• Review and analyze sales territories and alignment, assist in development of commission plans, and reviewing sales performance metrics.
• Customer acquisition costs for each product vs. lifetime customer value taking into account attrition rate
• Work closely with marketing team to understand the impact of our online campaigns post conferences and campaigns through our marketing automation tools. 
• ROI analysis on specific marketing campaigns, media channels
• Customized research on brand awareness and recall, etc: develop surveys, analyze results, develop recommendations
• Pricing analysis
• Cross-selling penetration rate and open opportunities (opportunity sizing)
• SQL and VB macro are highly recommended

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, related field, or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in business administration, information systems, health sciences, insurance company or healthcare billing organization.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Advanced proficiency with quantitative software programs (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
• Basic SQL knowledge is required. Billing systems experience a plus.
• Experience with BI tools, such as Business Objects or Hyperion preferred. Ability to define problems, collect and reconcile data, validate data against source information.
• Motivated, shows initiative, and ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Drive for Results (Service, Quality, and Continuous Improvement).
• Commitment to the successful achievement of team and organizational goals. Demonstrate a focus on listening to and understanding client/customer needs and then delighting the client/customer by exceeding service and quality expectations.

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
