Job Description
 

This role will lead pricing as well as reporting and analytics for the whole Gilead portfolio for a subset of affiliates in the ACE Midsized Markets (ACE MM) Region as well as all Latin-American markets within the Intercontinental Region (ICR). The selected candidate will be responsible for assuring the implementation of Global Price Governance as well as pricing strategies for the markets in scope. Additionally, the selected candidate will lead multiple workstreams linked the enhancement of functionalities and/or capabilities of PriceRight, Gilead’s Global Price Management System; this will include design, testing, implementation, and training, in partnership with other members of the Global Pricing & Analytics (GP&A) and IT. This role works closely with internal stakeholders across GP&A, Global Value & Access (GV&A), ACE MM, ICR, Local Value & Access, Global Strategic Marketing (GSM), Finance, Global Competition Law (GCL), IT, Global Decision Sciences & Insights (GDSI), and other relevant internal and third party/external partners.

The role will report to the Senior Director, Analytics & Established Products Pricing Team Lead within the Global Value & Access department.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Operational Pricing

• Responsible for monitoring and tracking price trends within a subset of ACE MM markets and all Latin-American markets: Mexico, Brazil, and the LAMS Region.
• Guide review of pricing proposals from markets in scope against Global Pricing Policies and Global Pricing Governance for all products, as well as for all Established Products for a sub-set of Core9 Markets.
• Support Local/Regional V&A teams in the preparation and review pricing business cases for timely and thorough decision-making by the Global Pricing Committee (GPC), GV&A or Regional Commercial leads.
• As required, support the GP&A team to escalate price proposals for GPC decision-making; this includes coordination between GV&A, GSM, Country General Manager, and Regional leadership of proposal endorsement for an aligned and informed decision by the GPC.
• Support Local/Regional and Global V&A with pricing operations i.e., price certifications, price evolution analysis, brand/indication-specific pricing implications, pricing policy and landscape changes, etc.
• Lead workstreams linked to the enhancement of PriceRight functionalities/capabilities, including design, testing, implementation, and training. Task is key to achieve the system’s on-going 2024-2026 roadmap and will be done in partnership with other members of the GP&A team as well as with IT and external vendors
