OnsiteCollins Aerospace is actively seeking a Procurement professional to spearhead our dynamic procurement processes, standards, and operational strategies, with a focused emphasis on managing obsolescence. This role involves leading the charge in crafting RFPs, mastering negotiation tactics, and conducting cost analyses. You'll be at the forefront, swiftly addressing program inquiries regarding order status, changes, or issues to guarantee unparalleled customer satisfaction.
You'll play a pivotal role in acquiring obsolete materials and services across our enterprise. Taking charge of specific commodities, you'll have influence over schedules and purchase orders, ensuring flawless execution from procurement to delivery. What You Will Do:
- Drives the full spectrum of the obsolescence procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including crafting RFPs, mastering negotiation strategies, and conducting cost analyses.
- Champions customer satisfaction by swiftly addressing client inquiries regarding order status, changes, or cancellations.
- Takes charge of acquiring obsolete goods, materials, supplies, and services, ensuring optimal terms for the organization.
- Executes seamless procurement operations by preparing purchase orders, approving payments, and negotiating prices under general guidance.
- Analyzes and synthesizes price proposals, financial reports, and data to recommend competitive pricing strategies.
- Innovates and strategizes by preparing detailed RFPs and bid packages.
- Ensures contract integrity by monitoring performance and enforcing compliance with contractual obligations.
- Proactively collaborates with suppliers to expedite deliveries and resolve logistical challenges promptly.
- Leverages learned knowledge in managing product obsolescence to overcome challenges.
- Thrives in autonomously managing simple to complex problems.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
- Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
- Prior Supply Chain or Finance experience required.
Qualification We Prefer:
- Supply Chain or Finance Degree
- SAP Experience
