About the role
Work remote, within the USA, leading an eDiscovery team that supports a federal agency. Manage the team's workload processing both FOIA and eDiscovery requests and manage technical resources who maintain, secure, and update the Relativity and Microsoft SharePoint / Purview / eDiscovery software products. Candidates with experience providing this type of support in a federal setting, who have already undergone a federal background investigation, preferred.
Must be a US CITIZEN and all work must be performed in the USA. Citizenship means you were born in the USA or to parents outside the USA on official USA business or you have passed the US citizenship exam and completed the naturalization process. Sorry, we cannot consider non-citizens due to contractual obligations.
Job Overview Manage work requests for a team of 8 - 12, including IT support personnel. Monitor incoming work, participate in fulfilling eDiscovery and FOIA requests, provide on the job training, status reports, and coach team members in meeting all customer requirements and following all applicable standards.
Manage the workload with the existing team to the extent possible. Communicate potential needs for additional resources if major litigation or similar is anticipated. Plan and monitor system upgrades to ensure software is current, secure, and available.
May be required to testify, or attest to, processes and procedures followed to identify electronic information, protect it, and apply relevant electronic information.

Skills, Education, and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of eDiscovery experience in the workplace
- Must be able to pass a commercial background check followed by a federal background investigation for a Public Trust clearance
- Experience managing/administering Relativity / RelativityOne and Microsoft Purview / eDiscovery / SharePoint environments to include upgrading and securing these systems.
- Experience using these same tools to identify, hold, redact, and deliver electronic information for use as evidence in legal cases. Electronic information includes MS Office files, PDFs and other file types stored in OneDrive, SharePoint, file shares, and in other repositories; emails; information in chats; and potentially other data sources.
- Experience ingesting, processing, and analyzing data in Relativity or Relativity One.
- Experience identifying, collecting, and analyzing electronic information in Microsoft 365 eDiscovery solutions (Purview, eDiscovery Standard, eDiscovery Premium) searching content and data in Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Experience leading technical teams.
- Experience interacting and working closely with attorneys on eDiscovery needs.
- Working knowledge of how eDiscovery and records management systems are operated, maintained, configured, and retain records in accordance with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), eDiscovery Reference Model (EDRM), and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP).
- Strong communication skills and experience working with senior leaders and executives.
- Minimum education bachelor's degree with seven years of experience in field related to task.
