About the role

Overview

The conservation on working lands CIG group (CoW-CIG), which consists of people from Utah, Colorado, and Montana State Universities, Western Landowners Alliance, Heart of the Rockies Initiative, Wildlife Services, and Defenders of Wildlife, is hiring a part time technician to help with interview coding and analysis.

 

This position is eligible for hybrid work within the state of Utah.

Responsibilities

Applicants should have experience with interview cleaning and coding and/or course work completed in qualitative research methods.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong organization and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be enthusiastic and curious to learn

    Technicians will be working primarily from home a minimum of 10 hours per week, regularly communicating and collaborating with undergraduate volunteers and PhD student. Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes.  The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
