JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Job responsibilities for the Piazza Center Fundraising and Social Media Student Intern include:

• Communicate effectively with Universities to establish relationships and partnerships to gain participation in research endowment;

• Contact Council leaders across the US to inform them about the Piazza Center;

• Present the Center to possible donors;

• Create and schedule social media postings on Instagram and other social media, including editing posts, creating or finding graphics for posts, assisting with drafting newsletters and articles;

• Writing newsletter copies, including creating outlines and pulling quotes from minutes/recordings;

• Attend group and specialty meetings to discuss creative strategies and plans for upcoming communication content;

• Full remote work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Full-time undergraduate or graduate student

• Membership in a fraternity and sorority 

Skills and attributes:

• Must be an organized, communicated well, and respond promptly to tasks and assignments.  Must be able to quickly change to different projects and contexts such as pulling quotes from meetings, creating graphics, emailing universities, and writing articles

• Must have a good understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn) and knowledge on how to increase engagements and followers
