You'll engage with all facets of the department, leading important change initiatives, driving enhancements, and addressing significant deviations. Additionally, you'll facilitate internal GMP training and provide invaluable support to your colleagues in quality assurance and daily control testing.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Act as a subject matter expert in the validation and qualification of Quality Control (QC) methods, processes, and instruments.</li><li>Lead and oversee change controls, risk assessments, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), improvement initiatives, and investigations of significant deviations.</li><li>Assume responsibility for the Quality Control Validation Master Plan (VMP) and ensure adherence to compliance standards.</li><li>Conduct periodic reviews of QC instruments, including their qualification, calibration, and inventory management.</li><li>Provide specialized knowledge in QC activities pertaining to the release testing of products, as well as media and environmental monitoring.</li><li>Engage in and present during regulatory inspections.</li><li>Assist the organization with analytical tasks and provide training to colleagues as necessary.</li><li>Execute and review analyses in accordance with established methods and procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>A university degree (BSc or MSc) in a pertinent discipline, such as chemistry, biotechnology, or a related field.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) as well as regulatory requirements, with a minimum of five years of experience.</li><li>Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making, with the capability to oversee complex projects and foster continuous improvement.</li><li>Exceptional communication abilities and proficiency in delivering training.</li><li>Experience in quality control testing and the release processes for pharmaceutical products.</li><li>Familiarity with inspections conducted by regulatory authorities.</li><li>Fluency in both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written.<br/></li></ul><p>In this role, we're really interested in your personal qualities! <br/>We're on the lookout for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys collaborating with others.</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>Employment &amp; benefits </strong></p><p>This is a permanent position with a 6 month probation period. <br/>As an employee at Valneva, you will benefit from several perks that support both your health and your development:<br/></p><ul><li>Competitive salary under the applicable Swedish collective agreement</li><li>Access to occupational health services</li><li>Wellness allowance</li><li>Vaccinations and reimbursement for medical visits and prescription medicines</li><li>ITP occupational pension</li><li>Eligibility for bonus and stock option programs<br/></li></ul><p><strong>How to apply / Questions <br/></strong><br/>Selection and interviews are ongoing—please submit your application as soon as possible. <br/>Questions?
