Job Description

Be one of the key members of the hedgehog engineering team. Drive and fulfill the vision around Hedgehog SONiC Open Network OS distribution. Modernize, modularize and secure SONiC NOS to be the true de-facto choice of people deploying open networking solutions. Be the face of our company in the Open Source community.

Qualifications

• BS in CS, Computer Engineer or equivalent. MS preferred. 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in Go, C, C++, Rust, and Python programming languages.
• Deep understanding and experience with Linux security
• Understanding and experience with Linux networking
• Understanding and experience with Linux platforms
• Experience with eBPF, DPDK, VPP, XDP is a huge plus
• Networking data plane experience is a huge plus
• Experience with implementing and maintaining routing protocols is a huge plus.
• Experience with ONIE (Open Network Install Environment) is a huge plus
• Experience with SONiC is a huge plus
• Experience with SmartNICs/DPUs/IPUs is a huge plus
• Experience with networking for AI or HPC environments is. huge plus. 
• Some exposure to P4 and Open Flow is a plus.
