Overview

Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties has a full-time opportunity for a Sr. Data Engineer Analytics in Anaheim, CA.

 

This position is on-site.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:• A Bachelor's Degree in Computers, Statistics, Business, or other related area; and/or equivalent experience/training.

Minimum Work Experience:• Minimum of five (5+) years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on data engineering and analytics.

 

Other Requirements:• Hands-on experience with the complete data engineering stack, including:Databases: Proficiency in working with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, Azure Synapse, Azure Analysis Service (AAS), Azure SQL Data Warehouse, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or equivalent.ETL: Extensive experience with ETL tools like SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Talend, Informatica, StreamSets, or equivalent.Data Visualization: Proficiency in creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Looker, QlikView, SSRS, or equivalent.Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.• Strong expertise in database performance tuning to optimize data processing and query performance.• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex data engineering and analytics challenges.• Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables and data modeling.• Proficient in application environments, database connections, business logic, and SQL queries.• Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.• Thorough understanding of business intelligence functions, analytics, industry standards, and best practices.• Proven experience as a data engineering and analytics professional, capable of translating theoretical concepts into practical solutions. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the field, can independently execute responsibilities, and demonstrates proficiency in analyzing problems and identifying suitable solutions.
