Our mission is to support Payroll Operations and their partners to Pay Employees Accurately and On Time, with the Highest Controllership &amp; Customer Obsession and at the Lowest Cost to Amazon through program delivery. PPM is accountable for the delivery of payroll impacting global programs related to Human Capital Management system products that support global business processes needed for onboarding, managing time-off and leave, job-related changes, separations from Amazon and Payroll Technology implementations. <br/><br/>Team dives deep into the requirements related to features/products for End Customer Benefit via Working backward sessions (PRFAQ, BRDs, etc.) and liaises with dependent teams such as Payroll Tech, Payroll Operations, Payroll Vendors and other system Tech developers for the solution roll outs. The team enables and promotes collaboration across teams and businesses to review dependencies, feasibility and apply a think big to identify future opportunities for improving our customer experience and productivity.<br/><br/>The team is looking for a self-driven, customer obsessed and results drive Program Manager to join our team, to continue raising the bar through the delivery of transformation programs. We’re looking for someone who can work autonomously, partnering and engaging with leadership across multiple capabilities and functions, to influence roadmaps and strategic initiatives in order to ensure we’re Thinking Big by working on the right things and the right time through the delivery of long-term benefits to our customers. The ability to Insist on the Highest Standards, Think Big and apply Bias for Action are critical to deliver at speed with the highest levels of controllership and the lowest cost to Amazon.<br/>The ideal candidate has worked in a fast-paced, cross-functional global environment, able to navigate ambiguous situations quickly, and are energized by working on high-profile programs, whilst being experienced and comfortable influencing senior leadership.<br/>This is an exciting opportunity to join a team who are passionate about what we do and where you have can have a demonstrable impact on our end customers, only limited by your drive and determination. It’s always Day 1.<br/><br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/>• Accountable for the end to end program life cycle, driving each initiative from inception to fruition, whilst successfully transitioning those services/transformations.<br/>• Develop an in-depth understanding of Amazon’s payroll products, Amazon and Payroll system architectures, cross-functional dependencies and business models.<br/>• Develop critical relationships to enable you to Earn Trust of your end customers, partners and stakeholders and drive transformation initiatives through to fruition.<br/>• Use expertise and judgment to select stakeholders to determine the right goals, inform decisions, and design long-term solutions. Able to deliver independently and take the lead on initiatives.<br/>• Handle complex problems/efforts, decisions, and escalations. Mitigates long-term risks and find a path forward in difficult situations. Makes trade-offs: short vs. long-term needs.<br/>• Determine the strategy and where to simplify or extend solutions for the best outcome. Drive the use of best practices. <br/>• Streamline project delivery across FinOps Payroll Transformation by standardizing project communications, execution and documentation, ensuring consistent, scalable global processes.<br/>• Gathers requirements from appropriate business owners, writes clear and detailed functional. specifications, prioritizes features and drives technical scoping as needed, engaging and influencing all critical dependent stakeholders (internal and external to Amazon).<br/>• Assess and defines customer value or impact and criteria for measuring project success<br/>• Drive continuous process improvement by collaborating with stakeholders on design of new solutions that enhance business performance and achieve established Payroll goals.<br/>• Identifies and evaluates potential risks/obstacles with minimal direction.
