We also have an office space in San Francisco.</p> <p>We recognize the benefits of hybrid working and want to create the best balance to ensure we can continue working together effectively.&nbsp;For this role, we have a hybrid work policy of 2-3 days per week in EDO’s New York office.</p> <h4>The Role</h4> <p>The Senior Data Analyst works within the Data Science team at EDO. The Data Science team drives EDO's modeling and analytical methodology to measure the effect that television and streaming ads have on consumer behaviors, primarily consumers' online search and website visits.</p> <h4>What You Will Do</h4> <ul> <li>Monitor EDO’s modeling outputs, benchmarking them against a variety of priors for absolute values, ranges, and distributions, with an emphasis on identifying outliers</li> <li>Identify the effects of specific modeling steps and transformations in the pipeline to determine if they are acting as expected</li> <li>Evaluate prediction sets, implementing data transformations as needed to harmonize predictions with natural intuition and previous benchmarks.</li> <li>Fully ingest client expectations, priors, and requests, and help the team build toward these</li> <li>Work on a small team and take ownership of high impact projects.</li> </ul> <h4>What We Are Looking For</h4> <ul> <li>5+ years professional experience doing hands-on analysis</li> <li>Experience measuring TV advertisement effects</li> <li>SQL: Complex joins, aggregations, window functions</li> <li>Python: Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks, plotting data in intuitive visualizations, functional programming, limited object oriented programming</li> <li>Mathematical Intuition and Competencies:</li> <ul> <li><em>Statistics:</em>&nbsp; Statistical tests for distribution checking, such as chi-square and Kalmogorov-Smirnov; outlier detection; confidence interval testing</li> <li><em>Probability:</em> Empirical distributions; describing characteristics of distributions in meaningful ways; conditional probabilities</li> <li><em>Regression Analysis: </em>correlation measurement; curve fitting</li> <li><e
