Maintenance Supervisor

The Manufacturing Hourly Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance activities, managing a team of maintenance technicians, scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring equipment reliability to support production goals. This role reports to the plant engineer and works closely with production and safety teams to maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team.
• Plan, assign, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment and machinery issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with production leadership to schedule repairs with minimal disruption.
• Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance team members.
• Support capital projects and equipment installations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Experience with boiler maintenance and textile manufacturing is a plus

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Some Overtime Work Required (Weekends / On-Call)
