We are looking for a talented engineer with a growth mindset who is eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our team, you will be expected to be agile and flexible, with the ability to quickly learn and absorb new information, and to apply that knowledge to drive innovation and improvement. As a member of the Enterprise Search team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying search solutions that meet the needs of Lockheed Martin's employees and customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, develop solutions, and test and deploy search applications. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, AI or related field
- Experience with OpenSearch and/or ElasticSearch, including indexing, chunking, and/or other related concepts
- Experience with Vector Database technologies, including embedding, vectorizing, and/or re-ranking
- Programming skills in Python
Desired skills
- Experience with Graph DB technologies, such as Neo4j
- Knowledge of AI Prompt Tuning, including understanding how to generate prompts to assist in code generation
- Experience with API development and troubleshooting, including API standards
-Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD Pipelines, including GitLab and OpenShift
- Experience with Data Engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT, replication, batch/stream processing, and understanding of structured and unstructured datasets
- Experience with Angular JS and UI/UX design principles
Experience working in an Agile development environment
