What You Will Be Doing
- Meet and exceed individual revenue and quota
- Qualify and develop new business opportunities from outbound/inbound calls, leads, general prospecting and email marketing. This includes cold calling and networking in the region to develop one’s own opportunities
- In the role, you will work across territories and silos/sectors, in support of various team-critical needs as they arise (i.e., special teams’ player, serving the entire Northwest region). As such you will build expertise quickly in a range of subject matter, private and public sector accounts, and incentive/utility territories. Your success will be measured in the team’s success.
- Perform sales presentations and demonstrations to customers and prospects
- Travel extensively into territory to develop and maintain relationships with key customer contacts, present, articulate/clarify value and differentiation, and win the business in expected timeframe
- Partner with field reseller partners and/or service partners to develop sales opportunities and to support sales and implementation activities
- Support training of new channel partners
- Develop territory strategy, including channel leverage and internal resource requirements, for each account
- Accurately forecast revenue for territory and accounts, maintain contact information, business history and opportunity details in salesforce.com continuously
- Develop a strong technical baseline through training and development milestones
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in Marketing, Product, Sales Engineering and Customer Support

Requirements
- 3-5+ years sales experience and demonstrated sales quota attainment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, strong execution capability
- University degree preferred or equivalent work experience

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $40,500 to $77,250. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
