Position Overview
Ontic is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Solutions Consultant to support our Federal Government go-to-market motion. In this role, you will act as a technical advisor, solution expert, and commercial partner bridging the gap between our sales team and Federal clients to deliver tailored solutions that meet their unique requirements.
You will work closely with account executives, key client stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure a consistent and seamless pre- and post-sale experience.

Key Responsibilities
- The Senior Solutions Consultant will be focused on supporting and scaling our work with clients and prospects in the Federal Government. Building and maintaining relationships, pre-sales discovery and solutions design, enabling Ontic and client success, and documenting feedback will be essential responsibilities
- Solution design and innovation, cross-functional collaboration, education and advocacy, and continually identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure consistency will also be essential across the board
- Gather and assess customer business and technical needs
- Design a technical solution to meet the clients technical and mission critical business requirements
- Identify client-specific constraints and possible barriers that impact a solution
- Uncover probable solution competitors and collaborate on deal strategy
- Align innovative strategies to technology solutions within complex accounts
- Continuously build and present client-specific Ontic solutions to multiple stakeholders
- Partner with Enterprise Account Executives to lead ongoing discovery, analysis, and recommendation of the preferred solutionCollaborate with internal stakeholders (product, professional services, implementation and success) to continue to understand the changing needs of the client for upsell and expansion opportunities
- Participate in all appropriate product, sales, procedural training and certifications
- Participate in the Demo2Win workshop and ongoing training
- Ability to travel based on territory alignment and region

Additional Expectations
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a SaaS software Solutions/Sales Consultant/Engineer
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a SaaS software Solutions/Sales Consultant/Engineer, or similar role supporting federal government clients
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively demo a SaaS platform to non-technical audiences
- Ability to drive and connect the conversation to the business values Ontic can deliver
- Strong problem solving skills and a client-first mindset
- Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied environments
- Experience working with corporate security teams with an understanding of corporate security needs, including their unique workflows, policies, and threat landscapes
- Familiarity with federal agencies such as DoD, DHS, or civilian agencies
- Accredited four year degree. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
