Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Position Summary:

Marucci Sports is looking for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator at our Baton Rouge location. You will be responsible for ensuring money owed is invoiced correctly and promptly, in compliance with financial policies and procedures; performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data; preparing bills, invoices and bank deposits. This Accounts Receivable Coordinator ensures company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to accounts receivable.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitors Accounts Receivable for past due balances.

  • Reviews customer account balances for accuracy, payment discrepancies, etc.  Timely adjustments for incorrect amounts. 

  • Periodic review of credit limits. 

  • Telephone communication with customers for payment on accounts.

  • Email coming due reminders and past due reminders, with phone call follow-up.

  • Email/mail requested correspondence (invoices, receipts, etc.).

  • Issue Credit Memos for retail customers.

  • Post Sales return orders.

  • Issue refunds for website and direct customers.

  • Reconciles Accounts Receivable to G/L.

  • Assess and record allowance for doubtful accounts.

  • Supply payment information for cash projection.

  • Take credit card payments for retail and team sales customers.

  • Correspond with Collections Agency (NACM).

  • Backup to Billing.

  • Maintains immaculate records.

  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.

  • Experience working with an ERP, Microsoft Dynamics Navision (BC14) preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
