Principal Product Manager, Healthcare

Iron Mountain is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Product Manager to join our Digital Business Unit and help drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our digital healthcare solutions. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in defining and delivering solutions that address the evolving needs of healthcare organizations, leveraging Iron Mountain's unique capabilities in AI, information management, data security, and compliance. A successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, deep experience working with or integrating technology into electronic health record (EHR) systems, and a proven ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do at Iron Mountain:

• Strategic Vision & Roadmap: Help to define and champion the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned healthcare product areas, aligning with Iron Mountain's overall business objectives and market opportunities.

• Healthcare Ecosystem Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of EHRs, the exchange of healthcare information, regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA), and other critical healthcare technologies and workflows to inform product decisions.

• Market & Customer Insights: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analyses, and customer discovery to define problems and identify unmet needs, emerging trends, and opportunities for innovation within the healthcare sector.

• Product Definition & Requirements: Translate market insights and customer needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.

• Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with marketing, sales, and operations teams to develop and execute successful go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, pricing, and launch plans.

• Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, customers, and partners. Build strong relationships and foster alignment across a global organization.

• Performance Monitoring & Iteration: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on the product based on data and feedback.

• Partner Strategy: Evaluate and define strategies for partnerships to enhance value and increase speed to market.

• Navigate Ambiguity: Embrace a growth mindset and player-coach mentality to approach complex challenges in a high-growth, rapidly changing environment. 

What You'll Bring to the Team:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Healthcare Management); Master's degree preferred.

• 8+ years of progressive product management experience, with a significant focus on the healthcare industry.

• Demonstrable experience working for or directly integrating technology with EHR systems.
