What you'll do:

The Senior Analyst – Analytics and Reporting will provide professional support to the Operations team and assist in the analysis of complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. The incumbent will identify and interpret trends and patterns in the data to locate influences and engage in management reporting on those findings. This person may also serve as an intermediary providing consultation to other users of the data.

What we are looking for:

• Cultivate an understanding of a wide variety of data sources and their validation techniques, metrics, and standard definitions.
• Develop techniques to join data elements and build robust data sets.
• Identify incomplete and/or inaccurate data and work with partners to determine root causes.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of periodic reporting to help drive data-based decision-making and process efficiencies through analytics.
• Retrieve, prepare, model, and analyze enterprise-wide data using tools such as, but not limited to, SQL Server Management Studio, Power BI, and Excel.
• Demonstrate inquisitiveness around data findings beyond what is requested and communicate those curiosities to data owners and related parties.
• Analyze requirements for "ad hoc" reporting requests, including timeframes, priorities, data sources, and output formats and delivery.
• Work closely with business partner to understand their requirements and help them with data and reporting needs.

What you will ned:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or a related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with data and business intelligence and analysis tools such as SMSS, Power BI, Tableau, MS Excel, and MS Access.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
