Job Description:
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.

Job Profile Summary:

This is a new role to improve coordination of resiliency efforts across GMT as well as providing support to individual SLT teams in executing their own resiliency deliverables.

The Operational Resiliency Project Manager will engage with teams across GMT, GRBC, GCOR to understand all the requirements associated with resiliency, provide a focal point for developing and maintaining a roadmap and supporting the GMT SLT in managing the prioritisation of resiliency work.

This will involve:

  • Support for the GMT Service Tech Execs in the creation and maintenance of a resiliency roadmap, ensuring all activities are captured

  • Co-ordinate and consolidate cross-GMT feedback on resiliency-related policies, standards, and new requirements

  • Coordinate the individual execution teams in the delivery of exercises including tabletop and data reconstruction activities

  • Work with Enterprise Resiliency Program on managing key resiliency metrics, deep-diving issues and escalating to GMT teams for remediation

  • Own the overall Application Restoral (ARP) oversight for GMT Prioritized Critical Services, liaising with application teams and other stakeholders as required to ensure applications have ARP plans in place and, when required to do so, test on-time 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)

  • Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams

  • Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline

  • Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule

  • Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements

  • Supports resource planning for delivery and execution

  • Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards

Required Qualifications

  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate various teams to achieve the required outcomes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor communications for a range of audiences

  • Understanding/awareness of the Global Markets business and technology organisation

  • Ability to work independently and be results driven whilst being a strong team player

  • Strong multitasking abilities, proactive approach to successfully comply with multiple deadlines and initiatives globally

  • Some familiarization with Operational Resiliency, Business Continuity and application hygiene would be useful
