Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a Cyber Network Defense (CND) team
• Provide oversight in evaluating security controls and compliance on a variety of hardware and software systems
• Provide leadership in dealing with incident response and spillages
• Direct eMASS inputs/updates
• Provide expert guidance with assessing ACAS and STIG checklists.
• Coordinate red team/blue team activities
• Lead teams in the implementation and usage of Splunk, Sourcefire and ArcSight or similar tools
• Provide strong technical direction
• Exhibit a strong work ethic and ability and willingness to take on new challenges as part of leading by example
• Provide leadership during a Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI)
• Provide leadership during Evaluator Scoring Metrics (ESM) Audits
• Demonstrate experience with Cyber Key Terrain
• Ensure 8570 / 8140 requirements compliance
• Provide Continuous Monitoring and Case Management and Reporting System (CMRS) oversight
• Direct Vulnerability Management activities
• Implement MITRE ATT&CK
• Demonstrate an understanding of Splunk architecture and capabilities
• Provide packet capture analysis oversight

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Fifteen (15) years of experience.
• Top-Secret Clearance required.
• DoD 8570 compliant certifications IAT II or better
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated a strong work ethic and ability and willingness to take on new challenges
• Practical experience with Cybersecurity Incident Response (Preparation, Detection, etc.)
• Prior leadership experience of with Teams of 50+ employees
• Practical experience with Cyber threat hunting and analysis
• Experience training subordinates and team members
