This position will only be filled with a long-term substitute if a qualified candidate is not secured for the regular position OR if the successful applicant for the regular position is unable to assume the position.
Contract will be terminated upon hire of regularly employed personnel during the 2026-2027 School Year, if the position is no longer posted due to lack of need, or the 2026-2027 School Year concludes.
This position is for the 2026-2027 School Year only.
Qualifications:
- Pass appropriate classification test
- Must provide verification of successful completion of First Aid/CPR program- official card not required
- Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
- The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must have and maintain a valid Food Handler's card
- Additional Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration.
- Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration.
- Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration.
- Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.
Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year
Contract Days: 203
Start Time: 6:00 a.m. End Time: 2:00 p.m.
Salary: Based on the 2026-2027 salary scale D rate of pay, commensurate with experience and education.
