Remote Registered Dietitian (Bilingual Spanish Preferred)

This is a remote position.

RD Nutrition Consultants is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team in a fully remote, part-time role conducting Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) assessments for Medicaid patients. These assessments determine eligibility for a free meal program that supports individuals with high BMI and/or diabetes.

This is an ongoing contract position with flexible hours and efficient patient visits.

Position Details

• 20–24 hours per week

• 100% remote

• California-based opportunity (no state licensure required)

• Start date: ASAP

What You’ll Do

• Conduct MNT assessments to determine eligibility for meal services

• Contact patients directly to schedule virtual appointments

• Complete required documentation for program eligibility

• Appointments typically last 15–30 minutes

• No ongoing counseling or long-term follow-up required

Compensation

• $30–$38 per hour

• Paid for the full hour per appointment , regardless of visit length ( Effective earnings can be up to $152/hour based on appointment duration )

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)

• Spanish-speaking / bilingual strongly preferred

• Comfortable with virtual patient interactions

• Experience working with high BMI and/or diabetes populations preferred
