The Occupational therapist evaluates and treats injury, disease, and other conditions of health. Occupational Therapy includes performance and interpretation of tests and measurements to assess pathological and developmental deficits of human systems. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Evaluate and treat patients in Occupational performance areas
• Maintains written and verbal communication regarding patient and departmental concerns, provides hand off communication via written communication, submits accurate billing information within insurance restrictions
• Promotes and contributes to all sanitary and housekeeping policies which are designed to maintain the cleanliness and readiness of all clinic and general staff areas
• Participates in department quality improvement activities
