Salary / Hourly Rate: $60,000 - $75,000 per year

Job Summary:
The Family Therapist provides therapeutic services to couples, families, and individuals seeking to improve their interpersonal relationships and emotional well-being. Utilizing a systemic approach and evidence-based interventions, this role focuses on resolving relational conflict, building healthier communication, and fostering resilience among clients.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and family dynamics to develop customized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy services tailored to couples, families, and individuals using a range of systemic and evidence-based models
- Identify the social and relational components influencing emotional and behavioral challenges
- Support clients in developing communication skills, emotional regulation, and relational insight
- Establish a therapeutic alliance grounded in trust, empathy, and collaboration
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary to ensure client safety and continuity of care
- Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and case consultations
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Coordinate care with other health providers, social service organizations, and community supports
- Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to all relevant legal and ethical guidelines
Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health field such as Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
- Active and valid Arizona state license, or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including work with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges
- Proficiency in brief therapy techniques (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation) and evidence-based treatments (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy)
