Position Overview:
This position is responsible for executing production plan assigned by operations manager, and ensure production of products is completed in a timely manner according to plan. Other responsibility includes managing existing workflow, organizing job training to team members, as well as monitoring and reporting job status to stakeholders.
- Execute production plan assigned by operations manager, communicate to team members and fulfills production schedule safely and on time. Communicate progress and coordinate with other team leads. Report job status to stake holders.
- Follow process instructions and safety procedures in all aspects of the job. Learn and follow company policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to new operators and to other team members.
- Interface with computers and scanners to monitor and operate processes, perform material movements, check inventory, submit requisition requests and write maintenance requests
- Troubleshoots batch and equipment issues and seeks appropriate support if needed
- Maintain work area and other areas of the facility to achieve or exceed housekeeping and safety standards
- Identify opportunities for improvement or production workflows, organize pilot testing and roll out for new equipment.
- Write and own quality documents related to production such as Equipment Operation Instructions (EOI) and Job Safety Assessment (JSA)
- Monitor attendance, approve time off and manage performance of team members, issue disciplines as necessary
Requirements:
- Minimum GED or High School Diploma
- Successful applicants will be highly organized and possess excellent interpersonal, communication
