CNC Machine Setup Technician

Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled CNC Machine Setup Technician for projects located in and around Clackamas, OR. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of $33-40/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Machine Setup Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to ensure proper function
• Assemble and disassemble injection molding machines as needed
• Change in-press mold inserts and clean mold components
• Inspect components for damage and wear
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform repairs
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment
• Assist with color changes in production
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience with plastic injection molding
• Completion of a technical certificate program or equivalent on-the-job training
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
