Senior Organizational Development (OD) Data Specialist

Overview:
As the Senior Organizational Development (OD) Data Specialist at the Barber National Institute, you will serve as a strategic partner in organizational transformation by enabling evidence-based decision-making. This role integrates organizational development with data analytics, reporting, and technology infrastructure to optimize workforce performance, support strategic planning, and enhance service delivery.
You will collaborate with IT and external vendors to ensure that data systems are secure, scalable, and compatible, while also equipping leaders with insights that drive organizational excellence. This position requires a highly analytical and systems-minded professional who can translate complex data into actionable strategies and recommendations.

What You’ll Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, data analytics, information systems, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics or managing data systems • Proficiency with reporting and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Familiarity with hardware compatibility, data storage solutions, and system access protocols
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data to non-technical audiences
A Typical Day May Include:
• Conducting assessments to identify gaps in data collection, structure, and capability
• Developing dashboards and reports with actionable recommendations for leadership
• Analyzing workforce, incident, and performance-based contracting data using trend and predictive modeling
• Partnering with IT to ensure secure and scalable data systems and architecture • Coordinating with vendors to implement and maintain compatible hardware and software solutions
• Supporting system integration across platforms such as HRIS and project management tools
• Linking learning and development participation data to performance and retention metrics • Building dashboards that connect learning outcomes to organizational KPIs
• Automating reporting processes for audits, regulatory requirements, and accreditation
• Supporting succession planning and leadership development through data-informed strategies
• Championing the use of data across the organization to foster a culture of continuous improvement
