JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Geography in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is seeking a part-time Geography Course and Faculty Assistant.

The successful candidate will work on one or more of the following activities:

• Assist with undergraduate course development
• Assist with updating departmental websites
• Conduct research and analysis in support of public-facing scholarly products
• Assist with department administrative tasks as assigned/needed to support course development and research.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, html programming/website design, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software (e.g. ArcGIS Pro), is highly desired.
• Other tasks as assigned by the supervising faculty member.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
