About the role
Position OverviewA cybersecurity manufacturing organization is seeking a Production Technician to support the assembly, configuration, and testing of secure hardware and software systems. This hands-on role involves working with advanced technologies in a high-assurance production environment where precision, quality, and adherence to documented procedures are critical.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and test hardware products according to established proceduresInstall and configure software based on sales order requirementsInspect incoming materials for quality and specification complianceTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to non-conforming componentsOperate and maintain test equipment, including bench-top instruments and specialized toolsAssemble and debug test boards and custom fixturesSupport installation, qualification, and maintenance of production equipmentPrepare and coordinate outbound shipments for customer ordersMaintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environmentContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and overall team objectives
Qualifications
EducationAssociate degree or relevant technical training preferred
Experience0–1 year of experience in a production or technical roleElectromechanical assembly or PCB programming experience a plusExperience in a test or technical manufacturing environment preferred
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesBasic understanding of electronics and electronic test equipmentMechanical aptitude and familiarity with computer-based systemsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsAbility to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracyReliable, team-oriented, and adaptable to changing prioritiesSelf-motivated with a strong focus on safety and precision
