The Role:

We are seeking a Frontend Engineering Manager to lead the development and scaling of our internal and external React-based applications. This role is critical to the success of our B2B SaaS platform, which operates in a cloud-native AWS environment and serves customers in regulated healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in frontend development, proven experience managing distributed teams, and a collaborative mindset when working with product designers and backend engineers. You will be responsible for both people leadership and technical delivery across a globally distributed team, ensuring high-quality, accessible, and maintainable UI experiences for our users.

What You'll be Doing:

• Manage and grow a team of frontend engineers across multiple geographies (FTE and contract-based across onshore, nearshore, and offshore)
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in designing and implementing scalable React applications
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to define, refine, and deliver user-facing features
• Maintain and evolve our design system and component library in partnership with the design team
• Drive quality through code reviews, testing strategy, performance monitoring, and accessibility compliance
• Ensure smooth and reliable integration between the frontend and AWS Lambda-based backend services
• Oversee sprint planning, work prioritization, and delivery milestones for frontend initiatives
• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on quality, ownership, continuous learning, and psychological safety

Who You Are and What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, including production-grade React development
