Casino Heavy Duty Cleaner-Full-Time(Bettendorf)

Maintain high standard of cleaniness in accordance with the procedures and policies set forth by the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the convention center.
• Responsible for cleaning all restrooms, floors, windows, walls, stairs, escalators, and elevators.
• Responsible for vacuuming all floors.
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking all restrooms.
• Mopping floors around the bars, restrooms, corridor, and entrance.
• Responsible for removing all trash and debris from restrooms, floors, and trash cans.
• Trash and debris to be deposited in the outside dumpsters.
• Ensure the safety and security of guest and team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Requirements

• Knowledgeable in the operation of a vacuum, carpet cleaner, buffer, ladder, sky jacks, auto scrubber, and shopvac.
• Ability to use chemicals for cleaning and personal protective equipment.
• Ability to read, follow instructions and understand visual aids.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
•  Ability to walk 50% of the time, bend (from the waist) 35% of the time as well as stand, lift (overhead arms’ length up to 50lbs) and climb 5% of the time.
• Ability to answer calls promptly and maintain politeness and pay attention to the needs of guests.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license. 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. 
• Prior experience in cleaning public buildings and/or facilities preferred.
