Assignment Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Category Manager
What You Will Work On
Own, develop, and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives
Analyze sourcing and procurement data to identify optimization opportunities
Drive cost efficiency and long-term value creation initiatives
Build and manage a competitive and sustainable supplier portfolio
Improve supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, sustainability, and technology dimensions
Lead supplier relationship management and governance activities
Conduct commercial negotiations and manage supplier agreements
Secure supply continuity and support long-term capacity planning
Monitor market developments, pricing movements, and supplier innovation
Drive proactive supply chain risk management initiatives
Support engineering change implementation together with technical stakeholders
Identify sourcing synergies across business areas and categories
Strengthen procurement maturity and strategic sourcing practices

What You Bring
Relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience
Solid experience within strategic sourcing and category management
Background from industrial or manufacturing environments
Proven experience leading supplier negotiations and supplier development initiatives
Strong analytical capability and experience using sourcing and procurement data
Good understanding of supplier evaluation and contract management practices
Experience operating within international and global sourcing organizations
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technical functions
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities
Structured and business-oriented approach to procurement execution
