Medical Records Supervisor (69085)

We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Records Supervisor to join our team at Tomoka Correctional Institution located in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The Medical Records Supervisor will be responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, and administering the written and electronic medical records program. He/She will be responsible for supervising and managing department operations and maintaining a complete, accurate healthcare record. He/She will supervise the medical records staff and maintain the confidentiality of the health care records.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience in medical records setting preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

8am-4:30pm, Monday- Friday
