What To Expect:

  • Plan, coordinate and organise the activities of a department and set objectives and develop tactical action plans. Manage own department to ensure delivery against short and mid term objectives.

  • Define and propose a commercial strategy and plan for the assigned area (region/infrastructure/ programme/ initiative) and assist senior management in defining an overall short and medium term commercial strategy.

  • Translate regional support and services management objectives into individual objectives. Plan, coordinate and follow up all support and services management activities and projects within the area (region/infrastructure/ programme).

  • Develop new business opportunities by establishing, maintaining and enhancing long term relationships with key accounts on mainly senior level. Ensure that enduring relationships are established with all accounts in the area and that customer needs, strategy and concerns are detected and handled.

  • Liaise with other divisions/departments in order to coordinate customer feedback and align activities within and across divisions/regions and share knowledge and/or deliver consultancy.

  • Take up overall management responsibility for major accounts/infrastructures/programmes/initiatives and/or coordinate the implementation of these initiatives.

  • Represent and/or ensure that Swift is represented within own area and promoted as the solution of choice.

  • Under guidance of senior management, implement and maintain HR policies/procedures. Hire, reward, coach, motivate and develop team members of the department in order to have qualified, competent and motivated employees.

  • Prepare, propose, substantiate and manage departmental budget. Allocate approved budget, authorise expenditures and assess budget performance.

What Will Make You Successful:

A University degree with minimum 15 years of experience in the financial industry and support and services management. At least 10 years of experience in leadership role. Other key attributes include:

  • Builds and reinforces customer relationships: Builds and maintains effective working relationships with a range of customers; actively listens to and translates complex needs into appropriate solutions while remaining sensitive to the complexities of the business and SWIFT's commitment to integrity in all relationships; encourages others to demonstrate strong customer focus and responsiv
