In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of AML &amp; Deputy MLRO in ensuring the smooth running of our business. You should be able to demonstrate ability to thoughtfully analyze policy matters and complex and nuanced topics. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to clearly and calmly clarify how relevant data policies apply, while helping to drive compliant solutions. </p><p><strong>The opportunity</strong></p><ul><li><p>Report to the Deputy MLRO</p></li><li><p>Assist in implementing the Irish AML compliance policies on Kraken’s regional operating infrastructure and business products</p></li><li><p>Assist with the AML/CFT Reporting capabilities for the Irish operations with reporting to the various Governance committees and Board</p></li><li><p>Assist with the delivery of the AML Compliance Monitoring Plan</p></li><li><p>Assist with the AML training for the Irish team and key global stakeholders </p></li><li><p>Assist with the preparation of MI reporting on Quality Assurance testing conducted.</p></li><li><p>Lead out on the regular meetings with key AML stakeholders across the business</p></li><li><p>Represent the Irish Regulatory Operations as a professional AML/CTF compliance expert with all internal parties, </p></li><li><p>Identify and develop AML workflow efficiencies, where appropriate</p></li></ul><p><strong>Skills you should HODL</strong></p><ul><li><p>Four-year degree or equivalent experience</p></li><li><p>4-5 years’ experience in a compliance role at a financial institution or equivalent</p></li><li><p>CAMS certification preferred</p></li><li><p>Strong experience in the AML Legislative requirements in Ireland/EU</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with anti-money laundering and know-your-customer best practices </p></li><li><p>Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written</p></li><li><p>Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to take ownership of work product and consistently deliver results</p></li><li><p>Adaptability to global business needs</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in a rapidly changing regulatory environment</p></li><li><p>Crypto Conviction and commitment to our mission to accelerate the global adoption of crypto</p></li></ul><p><strong>#LI-Remote</strong></p><p>Kraken is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate all Krakenites for their diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions and unique perspectives.
