We are looking for a team member with proven experience in using analytical methods to assemble Workplace related data, analyze space performance, create efficient space plans, then make and present recommendations that support company goals.
The role will focus on partnering with internal peers and support organizations such as Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, Human Resources, IT and other Business leaders to assist in the structure and implementation of policies and processes focusing on the workplace, improved employee experience, and office optimalization.
You are

You have
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; in Architecture or Interior Design, or related field. LEED or Wellness Certification a plus.
- 7+ years of work experience in Corporate Workplace Strategy and/or Design, Workplace Transformation Initiatives, or Space Planning.
- Knowledge in current workplace strategies/ methodologies.
- 5+ years of practical AutoCAD experience. CAFM system knowledge a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong ability to analyze large data sets, synthesize knowledge into recommendations/presentations. Expertise in MS Office (especially Excel), SharePoint, and other related applications to assist in Workplace strategies.
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial approach, and an ability to interpret ideas, develop Executive level presentations, and see responsibilities through to conclusion.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balance multiple projects, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
You will
- Under the direction of the Workplace Strategy, Design and Experience Manager prepare and produce test fits and other materials needed for planning the development of projects.
- Assist with carrying the project from schematic design through construction administration.
- Measure and evaluate workplace efficiency through analyzing occupancy data, produce reports, perform market/ benchmarking research, pull together findings and make recommendations. Build space utilization, occupancy and capacity reports, summarizing by department use or other organizational groupings.
- Coordinate day-to-day system data updates, such as ensuring system data integrity for final integration with Space Planning and Space Management application.
- Assist with creating departmental restack plans and moves. Collaborate with other team members to gain business intelligence, including move and relocation sequencing and execution.
- Synthesize data and end-user feedback to determine employee aspirations and challenges, the impact on space supply and occupancy demand, business goals, organizational culture, and performance criteria for workspaces.
- Work alongside key partners to identify Workplace needs, develop innovative solutions, and deploy well-rounded strategies that drive measurable results.
- Anticipate impact of change initiative and work with those impacted to help build a vision for the future of the workplace.
- Maintain a current outlook with finger on the pulse of latest Workplace trends by attending training, courses, and other activities to support best in class workplace strategies.
- Manage vendors engaged in space planning projects, including the development of RFPs as needed.
Location
- Flexible work arrangement, with the expectation of being in the office 2-3 days a week and working remotely 2-3 days a week. Holmdel, NJ or New York, NY locations preferred.
- Up to 10% travel to/from our Guardian Office locations: Holmdel NJ, Hudson Yards NYC, Bethlehem PA will be required, as needed.
Salary Range
