About the Role

We’re looking for a Legal Counsel to help Quidax navigate the complex legal and regulatory landscape of fintech, crypto, and payments. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and enabling business growth while working closely with the Legal Manager and cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Be Owning

Ensure Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

• Achieve 100% compliance with relevant fintech and crypto regulations across key markets.

• Monitor and analyze regulatory changes, advising leadership on risks and opportunities.

• Lead proactive legal strategies to mitigate risks and ensure smooth licensing processes.

Enable Business Growth While Managing Legal Risk

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts that protect Quidax’s interests while enabling partnerships.

• Provide legal guidance on new product launches, market expansion, and strategic initiatives.

• Support business teams with clear, actionable legal advice to drive revenue and operations.

Improve Legal Processes & Operational Efficiency

• Reduce contract review turnaround time by 30% through process optimization.

• Develop and implement scalable legal frameworks that align with business objectives.

• Enhance collaboration between legal, compliance, finance, and product teams for seamless execution.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• You have 5+ years of legal experience in fintech, payments, or technology sectors.

• You have a deep understanding of payment law, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and contract negotiation.

• You have a proven ability to work across multiple legal disciplines (commercial, regulatory, IP, risk).

• You have an LL.B. and Call to Bar; additional business or finance qualifications are a plus.

• You have strong research, drafting, and negotiation skills.

• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving, and remote-first environment.

• You may have experience advising on cross-border transactions

• You may have exposure to regulatory filings and licensing frameworks

• You may have a background in dispute resolution or risk advisory
