Our Enterostomal Therapy department consists of 18 clinic rooms and 2 hyperbaric therapy chambers. Methodist Comprehensive Wound Clinic treats a variety of patient needs including patients with acute and chronic wounds stemming from pressure, injury, burns, arterial or venous insufficiency, diabetes, infections, and more. 

Nursing skills gained:

  • Skilled wound assessment and treatment utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities such as NPWT and HBOT.
  • Collaboration with a multiple disciplinary team of clinicians and providers

Qualifications 

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
