Headquartered in Dublin, we deliver projects across Europe and have become the most trusted name in our sector.</p><p></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Mechanical Engineer</strong> to join our team on a large-scale data centre project in <strong>Amsterdam, Netherlands</strong>. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design, coordination, and installation of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and programme requirements while supporting the delivery of the project to the highest standards.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Support the management of the mechanical systems package, from design through to installation, testing, and commissioning. </li></ul><ul><li>Review and coordinate design drawings, specifications, and submittals with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. </li><li>Monitor site works to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations. </li><li>Assist in managing project schedules, tracking progress, and identifying potential risks or delays. </li><li>Prepare technical documentation, reports, and updates for internal and client meetings. </li><li>Support subcontractor management, including reviewing performance, manpower, and adherence to schedule. </li><li>Contribute to the implementation of quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) standards across all mechanical activities. </li><li>Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure technical requirements and expectations are met. </li><li>Assist with project close-out activities including testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover documentation.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Qualifications & Skills</strong></p><ul><li><a rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener">Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline. </a></li><li>Proven experience working as a Mechanical Engineer <a rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener">on large-scale projects, ideally data centres, pharmaceutical, or industrial.</a></li><li>Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and design & build environments. </li><li>Knowledge of health & safety standards and construction regulations. </li><li>Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)</li><li>A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Work with a market leader in the Data centre Construction industry </li><li>Be part of a forward-thinking team delivering critical infrastructure in a high-growth sector</li><li>Long-term career progression opportunities and professional development support.</li><li>Competitive salary packages</li></ul><p> </p><p><em><strong>Winthrop Technologies Ltd. are an equal opportunities employer </strong></em></p>
