About the role

Overview

Feedback provided by Owner/Operators and staff plays a critical role in shaping how Chick-fil-A supports and upholds its franchise agreement and maintains strong relationships with Owner/Operators. The Senior Lead Research Advisor represents the “Voice of the Operator” and “Voice of Operator Support Staff” under the umbrella of the Field Insights team by acting as one of the primary business leaders responsible for its overall vision, strategy, and day-to-day execution. The Field Insights Team is a sub-team of the Field Effectiveness Team in Field Operations. A successful Senior Lead Research Advisor will work daily with the Principal Program Lead to leverage the Field Insights toolkit and programs to equip internal stakeholders across the Support Center with relevant, compelling, and actionable insights to inform and improve their decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Works as a key player on the Field Insights team to scope, prioritize, plan, and implement data gathering and reporting (via surveys, text analytics, online reporting tools, etc.).
  • Contributes to and supports the Field Insights Principal Program Lead in creating new and enhancing existing strategies for the future of the work (preferred channels, tools, integrations, etc.)
  • Independently meet with teams across the organization to advise them on the most appropriate research design, sample, etc. based on the team’s business objectives and to present research findings to these teams.
  • Write surveys and discussion guides and program surveys on Qualtrics
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data and create presentation decks that synthesize insights
  • Engage with Owner/Operators qualitatively (via panels, feedback sessions, focus groups, etc.) to discuss and validate the interpretation of quantitative data.
  • Engage with staff via focus groups, meetings, or individuals to discuss assessments, feedback and results pertaining to their role/job.
  • Creates executive level reports and communication documents in addition to specialized reports for key stakeholder groups within the Support Center.
  • Collaborates with other departments to facilitate the use of Operator Voice frameworks and findings in their planning and decision making.
  • Identifies, vets, and manages vendor relationships on ongoing basis.
  • Presents Operator Voice findings to department and executive-level audiences to provide a current view of how Owner/Operators perceive the helpfulness of the Support Center.
  • Provides support to Field Operations leadership on specific initiatives in addition to core Field Insights program work as needed.
  •  Sit on cross-functional teams to represent VOF and the Field Effectiveness Team that supports the Area Support Team model.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Project management experience
  • Experience working with and influencing strategic partners across an organization.
  • Experience with engaging stakeholders/owners (via panels, feedback sessions, focus groups, etc.) to discuss and validate quantitative results and trends in data.
  • Experience in creating executive level reports and communication documents in addition to specialized reporting.
  • Experience in creating and writing statistically valid surveys, conducting these surveys and analyzing the data from these surveys.
  • Experience in initiating and creating work based on analyzed data, trends, and experience.
  • Experience with identifying, vetting and managing vendors and 3rd party relationships.
  • Experience being in the role of a strategic thought partner for a team.
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Business software - PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • This role is a full-time role located at the main campus of the Support Center.
  • Some of the work can be performed virtually but there is an expectation to be in-person a portion of the work week.
  • There is travel involved throughout the year for this role. This role directly reports to the Principle Team Leader, Field Effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Masters degree
  • Marketing research experience
  • Experience with another restaurant chain working with franchisee relations or another organization with B2B key stakeholders
  • Experience with Qualtrics and SPSS
  • 10+ years Strategic Insights, Marketing Research or Survey Design and Analysis experience
  • Project Management Certification
