The UCLA Division of Urologic Oncology is looking to fill the role of a Nurse Practitioner (NP).

The NP is expected to provide exemplary patient care consistent with the UCLA Health CICARE Service Excellence. This individual will independently review medical histories, evaluate patients in clinic and via telemedicine, perform comprehensive physical examination, review laboratory and imaging results, formulate treatment plans, manage prescriptions, and provide patient education.

The NP will manage clinical questions by telephone and Epic in-basket, perform procedures as needed, and manage clinical issues that arise following procedures and surgeries, address prescription-related issues such as prior authorization, and carry out related tasks for the UCLA Division of Urologic Oncology under the supervision of the attending urologists. Incumbent must be self directed and function with minimal direct supervision.

The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs).
