Objectives of This Role: 

The EVP, client service director is a department leader. You will be responsible for managing agency book of business inclusive of multiple clients and brands. This role will focus on business development opportunities through organic and new client growth. You are ultimately responsible for all brands, their financial management, and profitability. 

 
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall agency performance
  • P/L responsibility: ensure financial goals are attained (forecasts, margins, write-offs, etc) 
  • Responsibility over all client relationships 
  • Mine for organic growth opportunities with existing clients
  • Lead new business efforts 
  • Provide direction and guidance on capability and agency activities
  • Mentor and grow account service team 
  • Recruit and retain best-in-class talent

Job Requirements: 

  • 20-30+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing agency?
  • Effective presentation, mentorship, and client-facing skills?
  • Solid understanding of Veeva systems and client requirements 
  • Master of industry trends and guidelines (eg, CAN-SPAM, privacy policy, etc)
  • Fluent in market research methodology and approaches
  • Understand brand fundamentals (positioning, messaging, creative concepts) and how they all work together
  • Possess deep knowledge of category and competitive set, as well as client pipeline 
  • Understand FDA rules/regulations and life cycle of a brand
  • Understand competitors and advocacy groups for each account/brand 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Media, analytics, and measurement experience
  • Requires travel
