About the Team

The Core Product Experience is the essence of Miro. It's the most used and critically important domain for millions of users and a central entity for the success of our business. The stream is responsible for all the whiteboard UI and interactions across different device platforms, content creation, discovery, and sharing, and collaboration experiences within the whiteboard canvas. 

We aim to grow the core capabilities of our product in line with our strategy and become a visual workspace that enables teams to create the Next Big Thing. 

As part of this, the Miro Structured Content team's mission is to enable product teams to complete end-to-end product development use cases within Miro. The capabilities we build will support the creation, organization, and sharing of linear, structured content to complement the whiteboard's strengths of organizing unstructured content.

About the Role

We seek an experienced product designer to join our team in Miro's Berlin Hub. As a member of the Structured Content team, you will contribute to one of our product's most impactful and greenfield areas, helping us achieve the ambitious goal of redefining how Miro users organize and share their work in a structured format. 

You’ll be responsible for evolving the user experience for this domain, designing, and delivering new features that help improve collaboration and work for millions of Miro’s customers.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with the cross functional team to ensure we’re solving the right problems for our users.
  • Deliver scalable design concepts and detailed design solutions for Structured Content features.
  • Define and implement guiding principles for key aspects of experience.
  • Create advanced prototypes to help illustrate design concepts, and provide supporting context to the design principles and guidelines.
  • Work closely with Miro’s other Core Experience designers and the design system team to systemize solutions and ensure they seamlessly integrate with Miro’s wider product experience.
  • Facilitate collaboration and alignment with key stakeholders, leaders and other teams throughout the process.
  • Work closely with Miro’s A11Y designer to ensure solutions are fully accessible.

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years of product design experience, with 2-5 years working on productivity- or creative tools of similar complexity to Miro
  • Experience in creating sophisticated, multi-input interactions, experiences and end-to-end flows, prototypes, with high-fidelity visuals and micro-interactions ● Experience in validating design solutions through user research
  • Exceptional systems thinking with an ability to scale detailed design solutions across different applications and platforms
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Cross-functional collaboration mentality
