The Bus Operator is responsible for providing safe and efficient shuttle services for an apartment community, which
includes but not limited to: daily and weekly maintenance of the vehicle, obeying all traffic rules and practicing safe
driving skills, and providing excellent customer service (helping passengers with loading/unloading, answering
passenger questions, maintaining a professional demeanor, etc.). The Bus Operator is responsible for conducting all job
duties in accordance with Fair Housing Laws and Company policy, and supports the overall objective of meeting the
expectations of the Client, based on the respective financial operating budget and management agreement.
Pay: $19 - $20 / Hour
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Relations:
- Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner in the daily overall operations of the apartment community to ensure FPI is meeting the Client objectives and expectations.
Overview:
- Maintain safe driving practices, current driver’s license from the state in which he/she resides and keep driving record in good standing, specifically: No more than one moving violation or at-fault accident in the past 12 months. No more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents in the last 36 months (or any combination
thereof).
Communication:
- Keeps immediate supervisor informed concerning work progress, including present and potential work
- problems and suggestions for new or improved ways of addressing such problems.
Risk Management items:
- Ensure compliance of Risk Management items through the following of the FPI Standard Operating
- Procedures: Reports timely any/all injuries, illnesses, property damage through the proper reporting channels
and forms. React calmly and professionally in emergency, emotional and/or stressful situations
Other:
- Wear provided uniform and name badge during work hours. Promote a professional image by adhering to
- FPI Management's Dress Code Policy.
- Consistently and fairly enforce community rules and regulations, FPI Standard Operating Procedures.
- Comply with all Fair Housing Laws and FPI policies and procedures.
- Conduct displayed must be of a professional manner when communicating with employees, residents,
- prospective residents, clients, vendors, and guests while representing FPI Management.
- Responsible for meeting all training requirements for the position (Grace Hill, Safety Meetings, etc.).
- Perform any and all functions as directed by the supervisor, including special project assistance.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar bus/shuttle services role, preferably within Residential Property
Management. Experience in hotel, facilities, retail or commercial bussing/shuttle services will also be considered.
• Minimum 5 years’ current and uninterrupted licensed driving experience.
• Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements, and
an operable vehicle that meets FPI’s Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
• High School diploma or equivalency certificate required.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Basic computer skills (email, internet).
