Senior Service Technician

We are looking for a Senior Service Technician to join our WR Service team working on 4stroke Dual Fuel Engines. The position is permanent, after the end of the local trial period. The preferred location for the position is in Mandra, Greece. The location for the position is Greece (Attika area) and speaking in GREEK is mandatory. In this role, we expect you to be ready to travel approximately 65% of working time (you will travel around the world or work on shipyards).

 

Your role and responsibilities

 

As a Senior Service Technician your work will focus on the Dual Fuel engines. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support from both Superintendents and Service Engineers.

 

As a Senior Service Technician, your work will focus on the following responsibilities:

 

• Assist the supervisor engineer onboard
• Assist Foreman in the Workshop
• Perform mechanical maintenances on Wartsila engine components
• Travel around the world

 

As an ideal candidate you might also have… 

 

• Manual skills
• Speak and write in fluent English
• Good knowledge of computer tools (Word, Outlook  etc…)
• Upper-level theoretical knowledge on 4stroke engines
• Ability to write technical reports
• Mindset oriented to Safety and Quality 

 

The location for the position is Greece (Attika area) and speaking in GREEK is mandatory.

 

In this role, we expect you to be ready to travel approximately 60% of working time (you will travel around the world or work on shipyards).
