About the role

Summary: The Administrative Assistant for the VN Program performs a variety of administrative support activities of a responsible and confidential nature. The position requires autonomy in the performance of activities and projects, and knowledge of a wide array of policies, procedures, and regulations in completing job duties. The Administrative Assistant must demonstrate logical thinking, sound decision-making, and display professionalism while working with multiple and varied constituent groups.

What We Offer: The targeted starting pay range for this position is between $16.83-$21.63 per hour.

Administrative Assistant Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Maintains complete and accurate program documents and records in compliance with College policy and local, state, federal, and accreditation regulations

· Assists with gathering and compiling data and preparing reports, as directed

· Answers general questions from students/external customers and directs inquiries appropriately

· Schedules meetings, prepares agendas and supporting documents/presentations, arranges facilities and refreshments, acts as recorder and distributes minutes

· Assists as directed with prospective student admissions and enrollment in conjunction with Program Director and Admissions staff

· Assists as directed in administering faculty, class, and clinic evaluations and student surveys, including tabulating results

· Coordinates and supports Advisory Board meetings, acts as recorder and uploads electronic Advisory Board minutes

· Performs general clerical duties such as answering phones, drafting letters and other correspondence, handling incoming/outgoing mail, and filing

· Maintains faculty/staff office equipment and supplies

· Creates student, faculty and staff I.D. badges

· Reviews student confidential medical records for accuracy and/or errors and prepares summary report

· Performs other duties as assigned
