Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.

 

Job Overview
 
•    Manages daily COGI clearing process and works within SAP to clear all possible COGI errors.
•    Monitors SAP transaction activity and ensure that transactions are executed properly.
•    Works within systems to resolve discrepancies such as misusage, unaccounted scrap or other possible causes.
•    Escalates unresolved transaction errors to leadership in a timely manner.
•    Assists in the control of inventory integrity in assigned work area(s).
•    Troubleshoots BOMs and routings for incorrect values and escalates accordingly.
•    Collaborates with area leads to resolve inventory discrepancies.
•    Monitors production order confirmations and goods receipts to ensure orders are executed completely.
•    Collaborates with warehouse teams to manage returns from production.
•    Other relevant duties as assigned
 

What your background should look like:

•    High School Diploma or GED is required.
•    Three to five years’ experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
•    Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot SAP transactions.
•    Cross functional experience with SAP in production and warehouse environments is a plus.
•    Must be able to read, write and speak English in order to effectively understand, complete and communicate required paperwork and documentation, including but not limited to safety rules, operating and finance instructions,  and procedure manuals, to effectively communicate to cross-functional teams.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $31,040-46,560 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
