About the role
This position reports directly to the Head of Application Software in Brisbane but is based in Tennessee.
The team is focused on developing cloud based, high volume data processing capabilities, including monitoring, alerting, data analytics and system integration. We are extending our data and analysis capabilities with an in-house Data Lake to support internal and external reporting feature sets.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities include:
- Gather data from various sources, such as databases, files, external systems, surveys, and online platforms
- Assess, manipulate and transform complex data into a structured format suitable for analysis
- Present analysis results in a clear and concise manner via reports and dashboards
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and address specific questions
- Strengthen data governance including quality, availability, access control, configuration and provenance
- Some travel required
- Mentor other team members
About You:
- Degree in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Experience with C# .NET, Python, Typescript, SQL and data driven programming
- Experience in AWS Data Pipelines and related data offerings (Lake Formation, Glue, Athena, Lambdas)
- Experience in MS Power BI (Fabric) and Power Query
- Understanding of Data Lakes, Warehouses and Data Marts
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to consistently work to a high standard with minimal supervision; self-motivated
- Knowledge or experience with Grafana
- Knowledge or experience with Databricks and/or QuickSight
- Knowledge or experience in reporting data sets for performant web applications.
- Knowledge or experience in manufacturing and associated common reporting metrics.
- Knowledge or experience in the Electric Vehicle industry and Fast Charging.

Salary:
USD $85000 – $100000 annually
