Providence is calling a Communication Specialist who will:

  • Support organization-wide programs and initiatives
  • Play a key role in supporting organizational and division-based communication efforts
  • Work closely with leaders and fellow caregivers on the communication team to support communication programs and messaging across the continuum of the multi-state Providence organization

Providence welcomes 100% remote work for residents who reside in the following area: 

  • California: Irvine

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience supporting broad based and successful communication teams and programs 

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience working in highly matrixed and geographically dispersed organizations and teams
  • Communication experience in health care
  • Experience in a faith-based health system/organization

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
