Summary:

The Imaging Associate supports Altru Health System's mission, vision, and values. Greets all who arrive in the department, answers question and assists all radiology departments. Promotes a collaborative working environment and floats to all areas providing support and patient transportation to and from departments. Helps coordinate department functions. Assists technologists with patient transfers and positioning. Assists technologists with patient transfers and positioning.

Essential Job Functions:

• Greets patients and guests who arrive at the facility in a timely, courteous and helpful manner.

• Assists techs when needed to promote a collaborative department. Floats to other areas when needed to support staff providing patient transport to and from departments.

• Coordinates department functions as needed.

• Assists technologists with patient transfers and positioning.

• Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

Certification:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) | American Heart Association (AHA)| Within 90 days of Start Date | Learning Management System

This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members.
